Well, I’m probably the last person to ask about left-handed mouse usage since I’ve grown up using the mouse with my right hand and, up until about 6 months ago, I couldn’t practically use a mouse at all with my left hand.

And since I don’t currently use Photoshop (I’ve resorted to cheaper alternatives) I’m can’t point you to a specific folder where the cursors would be located… but if you take a look around the Photoshop-specifics folders under Program Files you might be able to find the cursor files, assuming they’re stored in typical .CUR type and not compiled in another file. I suspect they are compiled in a DLL file, which means that it would be much harder to replace.

I’m sorry that I’m not too much help.

lefty-2-lefty??? I want to get into Photoshop… but I’m a left handed artist. I use the mouse in my left hand. And in regular MS OFfice I installed a LEFT CURSOR so the pointer moves like my hand.

But even Photoshop can’t tell me if i would be able to adjust drawing tools like the eraser, brushes and pencils to a left-handed direction.

I know that when I am in MS PAINT, as soon as I choose any of those functions, my LEFTY CURSOR disappears and the drawing tools will ONLY come at objects from the opposite direction.

And advise.feedback/encouragement

Hi Nathan,

I saw your “How I use Windows Vista” video and was very impressed! I especially liked all the Windows Live stuff you’re using. It just so happens that I’m in the process of building up a customer community around Windows Live and really want to show cool stuff like what you’re doing to other people using Windows Live. It’s a “people helping people” sort of thing. We’re launching in July and are in the process of building up content from people right now.
